All Systems Go At Burg-Wächter!
It’ s been‘ all systems go’ this year at Burg-Wächter, Germany’ s leading security experts. As the brand goes from strength to strength with its high-quality security solutions and a host of new product launches, Matt Parkes, Marketing Manager at Burg- Wächter, gives an overview of the last 12 months.
Hitting the mark
Our Security Solution Kits have really taken off. Designed to make security simple by including everything needed – such as sturdy ground anchors, braided steel cables and of course appropriate high-quality locks- in one convenient box, the comprehensive range covers shed, garage, barbeque, garden furniture, leisure vehicles and much more.
In addition, a number of the kits have products that are independently tested by Sold Secure, part of the Master Locksmith Association and are also recognised by Secured by Design, the official police initiative that works to improve security through good product design.
When we think of home burglaries, our minds often turn to inside the home. But nine out of 10 household thefts occur in the garden, while 1.6 million households have suffered theft from their gardens in the previous two years.
Furniture, barbeques, and heaters are just some big-ticket items that your customers might have in the garden for example and it’ s worth considering how secure and protected these items are with the above facts and figures in mind.
Our Security Kits are supported by an extensive influencer campaign with the aim of conveying the message‘ If you have a security problem, we have a solution’ at its very heart.
Playing it safe
September saw the launch of two brand new safe ranges – Expert and Profi – delivering both performance and protection that your customers can trust. The Profi range is certified for £ 4000 cash or £ 40,000 worth of valuables. Independently tested in Germany by VdS and certified by ECB. S, Profi features two security standards in one:
• For security – security level S2 according to EN 14450
• For fire resistance – LFS 30 according to EN 15659, giving 30 minutes of fire protection for paper.
The Expert safe is ideal for home use and offers customers storage of up to £ 2000 cash or £ 20,000 worth of valuables in this stylish yet robust safe. The electronic lock variant can also be programmed into a hotel mode that erases the guest code when the door is left open for 5 minutes.
Both Profi and Expert are available in two locking options, Version K which is a classic double bit lock and Version E, a programmable combination lock with up to 1,000,000 combinations available.
