LOCKSMITHS LOVE TO LEARN

Keen to learn more, we asked Jo what the MLA Expo means to the company— and whether locksmiths still have an appetite for these types of events.

“ It feels like we’ re going back to the old show days,” he said.“ And in a good way. Friday was our most successful day at an MLA event ever – in terms of volume of orders. People are coming with their shopping lists, ready to buy.
“ But, there’ s new customers here too. With the Chubb stand – undoubtedly the homeowners choice, coupled with the Insafe stand – showcasing our new Lithium Battery Safe, plus commercial and residential versions of the Home Vault, the two brands cover all safe bases.
“ We have safe options at all grades – and whether locksmiths are looking to get into safe sales or they already deal with safes and their looking to update and upgrade their product lines, we’ d love them to get in touch.”

We caught up with Daniel from Kap Diagnostics to find out all about the show, and what’ s going on back at Rochdale HQ too.
» DANIEL SAID:“ OUR PRODUCT IS like nothing else here – or on the market – and in fact it sells itself, but shows like this are a brilliant way for us to meet customers, and extend the training that we’ re known for at Kap HQ.
“ We use shows like the MLA Expo to catch up with customers, and if they need any advice with their ADVI. We can provide in-person tech support from the stand all through the event.
“ And for those that don’ t have our equipment yet, they can see it in action, ask questions and have a go.
“ Back at Rochdale, we have just opened our new training centre, and we
have big plans for 2026 – possibly even an open day. Plus we’ re refreshing the website as it’ s due an update.
“ It’ s been a busy year for us and thankfully, a busy show too!”
