TRUESUCCESS FOR 3D GROUP
» ANYONE WHO SAW 3D GROUP’ S stand at this year’ s MLA won’ t need telling how impressive the stand was. Situated in an ideal corner position, the stand certainly made an impact. With an Xhorse mascot and a fast reaction game, where visitors could win discounts on purchases, it was easy to see what first attracted people to the stand. The hard part was trying to get on it – as it was so busy. We made our way through the crowds however and managed five minutes with Greig and Hayleigh …
Greig told us:“ We brought 16 members of the team with us, and I’ m so glad we did. At first I was worried that we might have asked too many to come but we’ ve been so busy. The main focus of the show for us is to get people on the stand, and let them get hands on with the products; that’ s why we have so many touch points for them – and why we created the‘ flow’ from station to station, so that everyone can have a go at something without being disturbed.” The standalone stations housed equipment from XHorse, CNC machines, diagnostic tools and more; all of which had been teased before the event to distributors and end users – with many visitors coming to the stand with something already in mind that they wanted to try. And, as 3D Group is renowned for its training and technical expertise – auto locksmiths also had the team( all 16 of them) on hand to ask questions and get advice from.
The star of the show had to be the TrueAutomotive range – launched
exclusively at this year’ s MLA, and in The Locksmith Journal’ s MLA preview of course. With even more of the line on the horizon, this was the first glimpse that anyone in the industry got to get up close and personal with TrueCode and TrueKeys – the first products in the brand.
