‘ The best way to talk to the locksmith market’

Alex told us:“ The MLA Expo is the best way to talk to the locksmith market. We see it as genuine market research; a chance to talk to real-life locksmiths and get their feedback on our ranges.
“ And for the lines that are more fenestration based, this is the locksmiths’ chance to see the full product package and talk to us about it. They are the ones fitting, replacing and repairing locks and hardware every day, so the two-way communication – and collaboration – is vital.
“ We use shows like this to test prototypes, trial ideas and get to know what’ s happening‘ in real life’ up and down the UK. We can talk to them about development plans and ask‘ do you want this, or this?’ The feedback is invaluable.
“ Nearly all the visitors that come to our stand have heard of us, but not all of them know everything we do. Some visitors this year came two years ago and have started using our products since, and others are locksmiths and hardware suppliers who have partnered with us for a long time.
“ That’ s why these shows are important, and in between the shows we have our mobile showroom van that we take up and down the country – so locksmiths don’ t have to wait another two years to catch up with us!”
