Spotlight on the Training Academy
Since opening its doors in early 2024, the 3D Group Training Academy has rapidly grown and evolved. Initially offering tool-specific masterclasses, the academy has earned positive reviews and developed a reputation for covering a wide range of courses suitable for auto locksmiths of all skill levels.
Our courses differ in length, from intensive one or two-day sessions to full-week programs. Most run from 10:00 a. m. to 4:00 p. m., and includes lunch. Conveniently located in Nottinghamshire, just off Junction 27 of the M1, the academy is easily accessible for all across the UK.

VAG Xhorse Training Course
If you’ re a locksmith working on VW Group vehicles- Audi, Skoda, VW, or SEAT- the VAG Xhorse training course is designed for you.
In just one day, you’ ll gain handson experience in key programming work using Xhorse tools. The course focuses on VAG, UDS, and MQB systems, covering lost and spare key solutions, data processing, and dealer key creation. You’ ll learn how to work with UDS and MQB systems, use adapters for lost key situations, and set up Xhorse keys- combining classroom learning with real-world practice.
