Step one: Verify the original key works
Insert the original key into the ignition and start the vehicle to confirm it functions correctly.
Step two: Check clonability
On the Key Tool Max Pro device, navigate to the main screen and choose the‘ Transponder Clone’ option. Insert the original key into the transponder coil of the device and tap‘ Read Transponder’. This will identify the chip type; in this case, it will read as an‘ ID46 transponder’. The system will confirm if the chip is cloneable; if it shows‘ Clone Status: Cloneable’, proceed by tapping‘ Clone’.
Step three: Begin cloning process
Follow the cloning instructions as prompted: confirm that you’ re using the original key and then place the device’ s antenna near the ignition coil to begin data collection. After a few seconds, the screen will display‘ Data Acquisition Complete’. You’ ll then be asked to
