Help us Put a Stop to Rogue Locksmiths Advertising on Search Engines

Fraudulent locksmith businesses are continuing to flood search engines, especially Google, using misleading ads to trick customers and push out genuine, qualified locksmiths.
» THAT’ S WHY WE’ VE LAUNCHED A new campaign calling on search engines to take responsibility – and to introduce tighter rules on locksmith advertising, just as they’ ve already done in parts of Europe and the US. It’ s time for real action to protect the public and support trustworthy traders.
And we need the support of every locksmith— whether MLA approved or not— to help drive meaningful change.
We’ ve written to Google, contacted our local MP, and submitted a government petition- and that’ s where you come in.
Here’ s how you can be part of it:
1. Write to Your Local MP
We’ ve created a simple email template to demand government intervention. The more locksmiths who raise their voice, the stronger our case.
2. Sign the Petition
To request the Government to tackle fake online listings and rogue ads harming UK consumers and trades.
3. Spread the Word Share our campaign and petition with other locksmiths and trades.
