Notice Board couldn’ t secure her property, I asked my sister to kindly watch my daughter / her niece. The door was like 60 years old, and the lock had snapped, so got the lock out and put a new one in, however the mechanism was broken and nothing would fix it. Fortunately, I had the same door sitting in my yard( due to my house renovation) so, I ended up stripping it down and using it for parts to fix her door. All this to secure her properly on my day off.
It’ s a great feeling helping people in emergency situations, it allows me to use my problem-solving skills, and I love the flexibility that the trade offers. I like doing lock repairs and upgrades, window and door mechanism changes. The challenges of locksmithing for me personally, with my parental commitments, it’ s difficult to have my phone turned on all the time; I hate missing a call.
I enjoy marketing my business on Instagram and TikTok and plan to expand my presence on Facebook as well.
