Initially called ‘ gate safety week ’, the campaign was re-named ‘ gate safety month ’, and has since become a year-round campaign aimed at creating awareness and educating both the public and industry professionals on the dangers |
of poor installation and maintenance , as well as how to spot an unsafe gate .
Over a ten-year-period , Gate Safety Month has established a reputation as a highly effective campaign that continues to

collaborate with organisations such as HSE and The British Safety Council to raise awareness and campaign for higher standards across the industry .
