SAFES
‘ locksmiths can rest assured that both the safe as well as the lock itself has been manufactured to the highest possible standards ’
David said , “ In addition , and unique to the market , if a key is lost or stolen , a new set of keys can be ordered , and the safe lock reprogrammed to the new key set in a few very simple steps . This is less expensive , more convenient and more secure than duplicating a key .”
The importance of certification David explained , “ Certified safes are annually audited by an independent and certified bodies – at Burg-Wächter , we use the VdS and ECB . S . The independently certified attack resistant classes range from S1 to S2 ( to EN 14450 ) and Grade 0 ( N ) to the higher classes I , II , III and IV ( EN 1143-1 ). Eurograde safes most commonly found in private homes are S2 , O ( N ) and I . When it comes to safe locks , look for locks certified to the EN 1300 for peace of mind .
“ Our Diplomat range off safes for example is certified for £ 10,000 cash , £ 100,000 valuables and has a certified fire rating of 60 minutes . If fitted with a SecuTronic lock with graphic display and fingerprint scanner , it is ECB certified EN 1300 class A , whilst the SecuSafe resettable high security lock is VdS tested and ECB certified according to EN 1300 class 2B .”
