Virtual learning programme launched
» DOOR & HARDWARE FEDERATION ( DHF ) has announced that from September 2024 , it will be launching a new virtual learning facility . Examinations will be completed remotely throughout the course via the Online Training Academy , enabling delegates to receive instant results . Once the course has been completed , successful delegates will be able to download their certificates from the Online Training Academy .
“ Over the past 10 years , DHF has trained more than 5,000 delegates on DHF courses either face-to-face or via the Distance Learning Programme ,” explains DHF ’ s Commercial Director , Patricia Sowsbery-Stevens . “ Virtual learning eliminates the need to travel and provides accessibility to DHF training courses wherever delegates might be located ,” says Patricia . “ These enable savings on travel costs , time away from site , and contribute to the reduction of carbon footprint .”
Virtual learning is currently only available for the Level 2 Awards in Safety for Automated Gates & Traffic Barriers and Industrial & Garage Doors , and as with face-to-face training this course will run from 9am- 5pm with given breaks throughout the day . ABBE Accreditation can still be added onto virtual learning courses starting from £ 40 + VAT .
