The Lion's Pride Volume 11 (Winter 2019)

Cactus Kate Johnston I took a printmaking class at LWTECH, and loved it. I had a photo I took of a cactus in front of my brother-in-law's home in Arizona. I'd already used this as inspiration for a painting, and wanted to use it again for a print. The painting was an opportunity to learn about Cubism, and I created a Cubist cactus for it. This is a screen print of my cubist cactus.
