Many studies have been conducted to learn more about
beneficial side of yoga practice for patients with several health
conditions: chronic back pain, multiple sclerosis, lymphoma,
lung, and breast cancer. Even though more investigation and
trials are needed to explore all possible effects of different
types of yoga on different types of cancer, the studies showed
very promising results. The collected data suggest that yoga, if
practiced with caution, thoughtfulness and supervision, brings
a broad variety of benefits improving physical, emotional,
spiritual wellbeing; thus, improving quality of life.
