116 Since I was already on the pre-aligned path to Lake Washington Institute of Technology, their closest-relating program was Social & Human Services. Although I can’t say I am interested in becoming a social worker, this degree gives me an opportunity to hone useful skills as well as to fulfill my prerequisites for college. I am currently in my sixth quarter, and I will be done within a few more. After I get my associate’s degree at this college, eventually, with money accumulated, I will get my master’s degree in psychology, as well as a teaching certificate and a counseling license. The road to my goal is long and hard, but I feel that it will be very rewarding in the long-run. Despite everything that I went through in life, I am once again finding my purpose. My dreams were once crushed, but now they are reborn. TOC
