THE LINK JANUARY 2018
GREETINGS AND A VERY WARM WELCOME to our second issue of
LINK! Over the last several months, those of us at the team have
enjoyed a wealth of new insights that have been helping us to better
connect the school with you, its students. The theme of this issue is
“Global Citizens,” and we collected stories of our inspiring genera-
tion who really do their part in making our world a better place.
One of the most unfortunate things about our current state is the
many dangers we as youths face. Whether it is addiction, technol-
ogy or disabilities, our community has slowly emerged as a hub for
threatening activities to take place. Therefore, we have gathered a
vibrant mix of moral prowess from our future leaders and are high-
lighting their initiatives to you today.
Ultimately, in this issue, as we always attempt to do, we present
an array of both the here and the now and of the near and very
practical future. In this issue, you’ll get a chance to meet artists,
scientists, risk takers, inventors, politicians, and leaders who have
something in common: They are all global citizens. Even more
important, they all identify with being part of an emerging world
community and whose actions contribute to building our earth’s
values and practices.
