hiSeptember has been a busy month with lots of fun lessons taking place in the library. In first grade, we celebrated National Hispanic Heritage Month by reading The Night the Moon Fell by Pat Mora. We created moons with water colors and coffee filters, and they turned out amazing!
We also tackled Digital Citizenship! In fifth grade, we had great discussions about our digital footprint and what it already says about us. Students used iPads to scan QR codes around the library in order to watch short videos on digital citizenship. Then they worked in teams to complete a double bubble map comparing and contrasting citizenship with digital citizenship!
