RAD and Thanksgiving

t Guerrero, we had a GREAT RAD day! Bonnie Booth from central office came to read to our students. She read to all of 5th grade and to our 1st graders. We also had crazy sock day. Bonnie brought books and matching story characters for our library! Bonnie’s socks may also be featured in our year book! Mr. Andrew Polk also joined us at Guerrero. He read to 4th graders.
Thanksgiving was a very busy time at Guerrero! It was also Ms. Rosa Guerrero’s birthday! We counted our blessings and celebrated both Thanksgiving and Ms. Guerrero! She spent time with our students and their parents in the cafeteria. We had cake and happy birthdays for her. She was joined by her family. A very special guest helped serve in the cafeteria – our library boss – Armando! He worked very hard and served lots of meals! Our student orchestra provided some great background music. Our ALL, Diane Ellis, also provided piano accompaniment.
