Poetry Idol while video conferencing
I
n celebration of Poetry Month, Lincoln and Brown Middle School had a poetry reading during lunch on April 22, 2016. The two schools connected using our videoconferencing technology. Students from both schools were able to enjoy readings from students and teachers. The poems that were presented were by famous poets, as well as originals by the students. In addition, the students at Brown were actually performing to compete for prizes. Their event was a Poetry Idol. This was a great success! Students were excited to be able to connect with their peers from another school. We are looking forward to doing this again next year!!
