BOOLEAN OPERATORS

Boolean Operators are the words AND, OR, NOT. These can be used between your keywords in a search.

Boolean operators can either broaden or narrow your search.

BRACKETS

Use to group search elements.

Keywords and operators in parentheses are searched for first, then added to the keywords and operators outside the parentheses

e.g. women AND (employment OR work)
