Remembering a Great Teacher Dr . Stephen R . Covey

It was my privilege to know Dr . Covey and have the opportunity to learn the wisdom of Principle Centered Leadership and the 7 Habits . He had made a great impact to my life , my family and our PacRim organization . It is our honor to represent FranklinCovey in Thailand since 2000 . During the past 12 years , PacRim has delivered Dr . Covey ’ s Principle Centered Leadership concepts to hundreds of thousands of leaders covering various disciplines from Prime Ministers , CEOs , Business Owners , Senior Government Officers , School Principles to
primary students . He enabled us to profoundly impact millions of lives in Thailand . These are part of his legacy to the world .
Recalling back to 1997 , thank you to the financial crisis in Asia which in Thailand we called ‘ Tom Yam Kung ’ crisis . It gave me the opportunity to attend the 7 Habits workshop in Kuala Lumpur in 1998 . It was an eye opening and life transformation experience for me personally . It was the first time I understood the real meaning of Pro-Activeness and Effectiveness .
I was convinced and deeply believed these timeless and universal principles of the 7 Habits will be able to help many people in Thailand to alter their mind-set and attitude to face the challenges from the economic crisis at that time and prepare them for the unpredictable future ahead .
