of Flavors Radio Show International
with

bring you the first

Rachelle Thorpe. heroin. It seems they destroy spirituality. There is
Shamanic value for Cannabis." The conversation
shifts to the old Bush or Hydro as I digress into
the value of Volcano Vaporisers in distinguishing
the difference in the two and the sheer chemical
taste of hydro trough a Volcano. "I actually prefer
bush over hydro. The stoned is different. If I were
able to grow outdoors organically I would".
So the radio show
opens. On the line is a
sweetly voiced Ganja
Goddess who giggles
at being called Miss
Cannabis for the first
time in an interview.
"My
Cannabis
journey has been
massive. I was your
typical culturally conditioned youth with
thoughts that cannabis was bad for you and made
you do stupid stuff. Then I was hotboxed as an
introduction to Cannabis in a tent when I was
teen. That completely changed my vision. It really
chilled me out I wasn't going crazy or giggling off
my head. I starting smoking regularly a couple
years later and it really opened me up to who I
am." I'm not going to ask your age as it's not nice to
ask a lady her age so well say you're young and
beautiful and let the readers be jealous. I asked
what is the current direction of Miss Cannabis.
"I am manifesting a dream right now. Working in
an Irish Pub I am saving coin to build my
business. I want to do more healing and have my
own spiritual store and stalls at markets and
festivals."

This year’s Miss Cannabis is a spiritualist who is
qualified and practices sacred hea ling and works
with energy and light. So the conversation moves
to this path with cannabis. "Cannabis helps me
open up to my spirituality. It's opened me up to
those ideas and thoughts of who we are as beings
and what we were put on earth for and feel
energies. I have qualifications in reiki and crystal
healing and I want to achieve masters in both but
my ultimate goal is to become a shaman."
The conversation shifted to
the
"other"
drugs
associated with cannabis
and Miss Cannabis shared
her view. "Prescription
drugs for me I am against.
It's saddens me that people
turn to drugs like cocaine and
So you'll be at Nimbin MardiGrass
how did Miss Cannabis find
you? How did you get
involved? "A couple years
ago I saw Miss High Times
and it sparked a dream. Then
I found Miss Cannabis through
the MardiGrass network. Did little research
about what it represents and on homiemade. So
my friends nominated me and I got the
appointment!"
You are a part of the full legalisation for all use
and purpose movement in Australia so what will
you do as Miss Cannabis to bring it about.
"Speaking on the medical issue my sister is
epileptic and if something as natural as cannabis
can help her instead of addictive pharmaceutical
drugs then it really needs to put forward.
Cannabis can help so many. Australia could gain
economically and create jobs in this industry. You
could not have a shitty day at work in the
Cannabis industry!"
We look forward to seeing you at Nimbin
MardiGrass Law Reform Rally first weekend in
May. Be sure to find Miss Cannabis
