Just had a GP( General Practitioner Doctor) call me to discuss Medicinal Cannabis. Very interesting conversation. He ' s extremely supportive of it but has said Drs who do.. aren ' t treated very well at all. In fact most Drs are keeping quiet about their support for fear of losing their jobs. Really? Still? When the govt keeps telling us it ' s available and we just need to talk to our Drs. Another interesting bit of info he told me is that the pharmaceutical companies are monitoring the sales of their drugs on a weekly( sometimes daily) basis and questioning doctors if these sales drop. So basically, doctors are being PRESSURED by big pharma to keep prescribing their crap. He also added it is DEFINITELY big pharma trying to stop Cannabis legalisation and that the Turnbull family ' s involvement is a conflict of interest. And so the corruption continues while people are suffering and dying. And the govt wonders why the people have lost all respect for them? We will defy.. because we have no choice.( Jenny Hallum SA)
