Little Green Trailer Tasmania – Seeking “Full Time Sponsorship” From 2019 Little Green Trailer Tasmania will be seeking a company/business or even a private individual to sponsor us, and the work we do ‘on a full-time basis’ Since its inception, Little Green Trailer has become a recognised and accepted resource in the education of Medicinal Cannabis & Hemp. We now work with the Country Women’s Association of Tasmania, and the Tasmanian Labor Party are 100% committed to our cause, assisting us in many ways. “However,” We continually struggle each year to raise enough funds to keep this project up and running for the benefit of all Australians. Far too much time is spent fund raising, taking us away from our job of education to the people. From its inception some years ago, and with 4 trailers now built, we have always maintained that everything was done entirely by donations. Well in actual fact, the correct figures are around the 80% mark, with the balance being made up from personal funds of Marilyn (RIP) and myself. This continues today, even to our latest venture in attending the HHI Expo in Melbourne, as we struggled to raise enough funds to get us across and back on the ferry. BUT, by hook or by crook we were determined to take our important message and education to the mainland. We are a stubbornly determined team…… As a pensioner, I am no longer able to continue this practice of financial support for LGT. We therefore seek permanent financial backing each year in the form of sponsorship to be able to continue… If we want law changes with regards to Medicinal Cannabis, then it is vital LGT is out there. As financial sponsorship goes, our annual requirements are relatively low, but a sponsor (or 2) will receive full advertising in ‘the leaf’ newsletter, which goes all over Australia. Full exposure on the Little Green Trailer itself, plus our Facebook sites. Open for negotiations for any other mutually acceptable ideas… With my time being taken up more and more with other Medicinal Cannabis roles, I will be relinquishing the management of LGT from 2019, and will be taken over by the fabulous, knowledgeable and trusting LGT team of Sharon Pickard, Lorna Jorgensen, Shannon Oliver and Maryanne Brown. I will of course remain a team member, but won’t attend every event due to my present work load. Ok everyone, if you’re serious about the Medicinal Cannabis cause, then please give this some thought. You must know of someone or some business/company you can approach re sponsorship. PLEASE help us find a sponsor. Thank you
