Lt. General Michael Groen served for over 36 years in the U. S. military, finishing his career as the Director of the Joint Artificial Intelligence Center( JAIC), where he led the transformation of U. S. Joint warfighting and departmental processes through the integration of AI. He has also served in the National Security Agency overseeing Computer Network Operations, and as the Director of Joint Staff Intelligence, working closely with the Chairman of the U. S. Joint Chiefs.
