Meet the Author
Originally from Madras, India, Ravi Zacharias was raised in a nominally Christian family. He came to personal faith while recovering from a teenage suicide attempt, and emigrated to Canada at the age of 20. Since 1971, when he first ministered to GIs and POWs in Vietnam, Ravi has become a sought-after international speaker, defending the truths of the Christian faith in great halls of learning like Harvard, Princeton, and Oxford. He is the author of numerous bestselling works of Christian apologetics and broadcasts weekly programs that encourage a thoughtful, intellectually robust engagement with scriptural truth. Ravi’ s desire is to reach the honest sceptic by presenting the beauty and credibility of the gospel. He has been married to his wife Margie since 1972, and they have three adult children. Ravi and Margie make their home in Atlanta, Georgia.
