She began running to keep fit and in 2014 completed her first marathon. In 2016 Diane was diagnosed with breast cancer. Following surgery and radiotherapy she ran the London marathon in 2017 within a time that is “good for age” and this year Diane has set ambitious goals to complete three more, raising funds for a breast cancer charity.
