Welcome
A message from the
Pro Vice-Chancellor
for Students
A
s a graduate of Keele myself, I am
immensely proud of the supportive
and diverse community and culture
that we have on our beautiful campus,
which helps our students and staff to grow
and develop, regardless of gender, race,
disability or sexual orientation.
We join universities and organisations
around the world this month in celebrating
International Women’s Day, and this
edition is packed with stories about women
at Keele, whether they be members of
staff, students or alumni, and highlights
just a small number of the amazing things
that they do here or have achieved in the
wider world. I hope that you enjoy reading
it as much as we did compiling it.
