mornings to ensure that enough money
was raised to make camp a success.
From August 25 to August 31, 2013, we
(COGIC Ministries) hosted a youth
bible camp. The theme for our
magazine was taken from the camp
theme entitled, “The King In Me”.
Throughout the week that we lived and
fellowshipped together, our camp
director and counselors worked with the
campers to expand their knowledge
about who the King is and identifying
how He lives in us.
Our journey to camp began however
before August 25th. Many challenges
were placed before us but as Romans
8:37 states, “Yet in all these things we
are more than conquerors through Him
who loved us.” With the guidance and
help of the Almighty God, we came
together and He made it possible for
our camp to be a success. From
inception, several campers from the
previous year so badly wanted to attend
this year that they gave of their time
and effort to assist in raising funds.
This was mainly done through carwash
ventures. Counselors and campers
alike, joined together on Saturday

dedication of both campers and
counselors was about to be tested.
Throughout the week, our daily
routines differed, however some things
