Children in Need Friday the 13th - ‘Unlucky
for some’, however, very lucky for Children
in Need. The Kimberley School joined
in with the efforts to rally together
funds towards helping disadvantaged
children and young people in the
UK, striving towards the vision to
achieve safe, secure, and happy
upbringings.
With both Sixth Formers and teachers
kitted out in full fancy dress attire,
the day was fun-filled and exciting for
everyone in school. From cake sales to
open mic, all participants were eager to
help such an incredible cause - a few
unlucky victims were even subjected
to being pelted with wet sponges and
waxed free of leg hair! All in all, the
day was a thriving success, raising a
phenomenal £2140!!! The Kimberley
School Charity Committee would
like to thank the sixth form for
their great efforts and the entire
school for getting into the spirit
of the occasion, making it a
truly memorable day.
