MESSAGE
I
realise now why the ancient Romans venerated Janus as the God of beginnings, gates, transitions,
time, duality, doorways, passages and endings. He is usually depicted as having two faces, since
he looks to the future and to the past. This is especially significant for those who have to steer an
enterprise forward.
When I look back, I see stellar academic performances in both CBSE and Cambridge examinations.
Our Swimming contingent too made waves at the National level, while our Sports Teams steadily
improved on their past performances.
Our new library block is haunted by our ardent book worms and the newly refurbished Arts and
Performing Arts centre is the nucleus of creativity.
Are we resting on our laurels? Absolutely Not! Our completely revamped swimming pool is waiting
for our pupils to make a splash.
As I write this the sky is overcast with dark grey clouds but I am delighted that practising Random
Acts Of Kindness is in our DNA. A brief SMS sent out last night has resulted in a generous outpouring
of compassion from our school for our stranded compatriots. Our entire school staff also contributed
a day’s salary to build a home for a very unfortunate family in Chellanam who lost their house to the
cyclone Ockhi.
We have set our course.....we will continue to abide by our stated Mission and Vision by fostering
a wholesome learning environment and promoting excellence in all aspects of human life.
I implore you to walk with us on this journey that promises to only get better.
