reporting and participation requirements for Medicare’s
Merit Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) and
defines the optional participation in the Alternative
Payment Model (APM) pathway. Some objectives for

• Outline the necessary requirements to avoid a
negative payment adjustment and discuss the
