VVShe was a recipient of the Ernest Walton Gold Medal in the Undergraduate Awards in Ireland (2012) for her paper on China’s voting in the UN Security Council. Her areas of focus include international security, international institutions and law, and China. Sunpreviously worked at the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington, DC, and the UN Regional Centre for Peace and Disarmament in Africa. She was a panel judge for this year’s Undergraduate Awards and is currently a blogger at the Huffington Post. Sun is fluent in English and Chinese, and proficient in French.
