The study of "transnational citizenship" is varied and growing. Today, scholars are beginning to see diasporas as their own regimes, and with that comes a complex set of international frameworks. This paper analyses the Indian Diaspora within the German nation-state. Due to their historical interaction and the consideration of Turkish model framwork, this particular case study attempts to illuminate the: (1) international relations of diasporas, (2) economics of migration, and (3) critical legal theory.
