Awards Recognise the Best of UK Healthcare IT And the winners are ...

A project that has given ambulance crews mobile access to summary care records and an App for pelvic floor muscle exercises were among the winning digital health projects recognised at the 10th annual EHI Awards , held in London last month .
The annual black-tie event held at London ’ s prestigious Lancaster Hotel , is the UK ’ s only dedicated awards ceremony to recognise excellence in healthcare IT . With award categories covering health apps to clinical solutions , the night saw representatives from some of the UK ’ s most successful healthcare digital transformation projects collect awards for their ground-breaking work in the sector .
The Journal of mHealth was pleased to be in attendance on the night , for the awards which were presented by well-known comedian Ruby Wax , who has more recently become known for her work to raise awareness of mental health issues . We were similarly proud to be able to support the event as a sponsor for the award for Excellence in mobile healthcare which was won by South Central Ambulance Service ( SCAS ), Ortivus AB and Quicksilva Limited for their Mobile Summary Care Record Access for Ambulances .
Commenting on the night Dave Panther , sales director at the awards organiser Informa , said : " Tonight is about celebrating the fantastic entrants and this year ' s winners for the innovative work they are doing in the healthcare sector ... for the benefit of hospitals , clinicians and most importantly patients ."
