CELEBRATING 110 Years

A MESSAGE FROM THE CHS ALUMNAE ASSOCIATION
This year, the CHS Alumnae Association proudly marked its 110th anniversary— a milestone that invited both reflection and renewed energy. As we look toward the future, we’ re exploring fresh and meaningful ways to connect, particularly with our younger alumnae. What remains unchanged, however, are the enduring values of community, service and connection that continue to bring alumnae together across generations.
Through social media, we’ ve seen an exciting boost in digital engagement, with alumnae eagerly sharing updates, milestones and memories. This enthusiasm carried over to our Alumnae Career Exchange events, which were especially well received as they provided valuable support for those returning to Vancouver after university or navigating career transitions. While the conversations often began with professional advice, they naturally evolved into heartfelt discussions about the personal challenges and opportunities that come with life’ s many turns. gatherings, including jam-making workshops, book clubs, friendly games of pickleball, knitting alongside Junior School students, and even offering thoughtful evaluations of Grade 12 Capstone projects— careeroriented projects that culminate in presentations to CHS community members that demonstrate growth and future-ready skills. These moments of giving back, mentoring and simply having fun reflect the powerful bond between our alumnae and the School. Returning to campus not only sparks fond memories but also inspires fresh ideas and meaningful mentorship.
As we look ahead, the Alumnae Association is thrilled to welcome the Class of 2025 into the fold. In partnership with the School’ s Alumnae Relations team, we are committed to strengthening the ties that connect alumnae with one another— and with the vibrant student community that continues to grow and thrive at Crofton House.
