SENIOR SCHOOL PRODUCTION: HADESTOWN
Welcome to Hadestown, where a song can change your fate. Following two intertwining love stories— those of Orpheus and Eurydice, and Hades and Persephone— the Grade 8 – 12 production students took their audiences on a journey to the underworld and back. Cast and crew explored the traditions of classic American folk music and vintage New Orleans jazz, iconic stories of Greek mythology, the topics of climate change and industrialization, and themes of love, fear, doubt, faith, courage and resilience.
