“ The Winter Bazaar was a huge success due to the hard work of our community, bringing us all together for a meaningful cause of fundraising and hopefully also creating lasting memories for our girls!”
MAKING Memories
This year has been packed with opportunities to connect as a community. From the Welcome Back Event in September to the Year End Celebration in June, once again, the CHS Parents’ Auxiliary has created so many ways for us to come together, build belonging and have fun! Events this year included the new Senior School Pop Culture Trivia, Multicultural Celebration and Parent Pickleball events, as well as the always highly anticipated Winter Bazaar.
WINTER BAZAAR
Each year, Crofton House’ s spirit of community and collaboration comes together at the Winter Bazaar, a beloved event with roots tracing back to 1944. Since the first Winter Bazaar supporting the Red Cross, the focus has been on community and service.
The 2024 Winter Bazaar was no exception, as 700 volunteers— students, parents, alumnae and staff alike— contributed 1,900 hours to ensure its success for the 2,200 attendees who came to connect, shop, be entertained and eat delicious food.
Together, our community raised $ 62,295 in support of wide-ranging programming at both Women Leaders of Tomorrow and the Downtown Eastside Women’ s Centre. These two organizations work to positively impact the lives of women and girls locally and globally and to support our educational program through purposeful learning opportunities, including Ivy Days and the Afghan student program.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who contributed to making this event a success. We are excited to continue the tradition of service and community connection at the 2025 Winter Bazaar.
