When powerful newspaper publishers raise prices at the newsies ’ expense , what should you do ? Strike ! Inspired by a true story , Grade 6 and 7 students took to the stage for their musical production of this year ’ s Junior School musical , Disney ’ s Newsies JR ., showing the power we can have when we stand up for what we believe in . Students successfully pushed their creative abilities , striking a balance between retelling real-world stories and keeping an entertaining and lighthearted style with perfected old-timey accents and excellent comedic delivery .
