Reflections

WORDS OF WISDOM
My advice for my Grade 1 self would be : don ’ t play with your Velcro during assembly . I got in trouble in Grade 1 during assembly — I still remember the look on Mrs Hutchison ’ s face !
For current and future CHS students : take things one day at a time . Take things as they come . And eat honey butter toast before exams I don ’ t know why , but I feel that gave me good luck .
CLOSING CHAPTERS

“ You are kind , compassionate . You fill the space with light . You have taught me more than I could ever teach you .”

When I think about what I will miss from CHS , I ’ ll miss my friends — the idea of being able to come to one place every day and see the same faces . And the teachers . They breathed life into the School ; without them , it would not be the same .
NEXT STEPS
I ’ m doing a dual degree between UBC and Sciences Po ( Paris Institute of Political Studies ), so I ’ m going to be brushing up on French and hopefully becoming fluent . And I want to host little dinner parties ! And I ’ m looking forward to spending time with my family this summer .
Mia wants to say a special thank you and give a shout-out to her siblings Emma , Leia and Ugo .
