The Issue: A Cotton On Group Publication | Page 3

WEL COME T O our firs t is sue I am thrilled to launch the first edition of The Issue. This new quarterly publication is designed to share some of the great things happening at the Cotton On Group and showcase the incredible people behind them. Our philosophy has always been to roll up our sleeves and get the job done. This means we haven’t always taken the time to tell our story or talk about all the things we’ve been up to. Almost 24 years on, that’s about to change. As one of the fastest growing retailers in the world, with over 1,300 stores in 16 countries and a workforce of 20,000 people, we understand there is an increasing interest in our story, our news and our plans for the future. We recently launched our corporate website, www.cottonongroup.com.au, to lift the lid on the Group’s operations and provide information about how, and why, we do what we do. The Issue aims to build on this each quarter, providing in-depth feature stories, people profiles and key business updates across our brands and departments. This first edition will introduce you to the Group and the values that we stand for, with our ‘From Geelong to the World’ feature story taking you on a journey through our history and vision for the future. We’ll also delve into our recent digital successes, explore the unique friendship that drives the work of the Cotton On Foundation, and provide a behind the scenes look at the Group’s trend forecasting pipeline... plus much more. We hope you find this first edition both informative and insightful and look forward to sharing more of our story with you in upcoming issues.
