‘Making Music Fun in East Anglia’ As we move into
the business end of
the season, we are
pleased to say that
both teams have
continued their
success and still
remain at the top
of their respective
leagues. A crucial day this month saw
our fi rst XI play Walsham Le Willows
and our second XI play their nearest
rivals Saxmundham and it just showed
the depth we have in our squad
this year as our fi rst team earned a
maximum 20 points by skittling out
the opposition for just 69 and our
second team bowled out Saxmundham
for just 63, giving them a 154 run
victory and another 20 points. Woolpit. A fi nal mention to one of our
bowlers, Greg Wallen for a very rare
occurrence, hitting a 4!
We entertained a touring team this
year called ‘Far From The MCC’.
Kesgrave CC came out on top with a
narrow victory but a great time was
had by all and has maybe given us the
spark to start touring again next year. We will be holding our Annual End of
Season Dance again this year on Friday
19th October at the Kesgrave Social
Club. Please come along and join
us for a fun night out dancing to an
