The consuming of tobacco is the main
cause of illness, disability and death worldwide.
Each year more that 5 million people in the
world die due to smoking. It affects the health
of smokers and non-smokers exposed. Still,
consumers use this drug without knowing what
it actually does to the human body, especially
the Circulatory and Respiratory System. In this
article we will inform more about the different
carcinogens found in cigarette smoke and how
it affects the functions of the Respiratory and
Circulatory systems including the disorders that
it may cause.
First of all, the meaning of a carcinogen
is a substance that it may bring various genetic
alterations that in one point it may lead to the
creation of cancerous growths after exposure.
This is a labeled chemical that has been
proved to be cancerous after any living thing.
Here is a list of carcinogen chemicals that can
cause harm in humans and had been tested
enough to have evidence about it:
So, we all know that tobacco is a strong
drug because it brings a lot of damages to the
human body due to the substance thats in it
thats called carcinogen. In which it brings
alterations in genetics. Still something that we
don’t understand its why being such a
dangerous drug and people know that it could
bring cancer they still take it. On stores they
sale it like if they were a bag of cookies when
there not, it brings you a lot of illness. Smoking
not only affects the person who is actually
doing it but the persons who surround them.
Sometimes there are cases where the person
who didn’t smoke dies. Smoking is extremely
harmful to your health. In a slowly but deathly
rate, your body starts transforming into an old
carcass of what was before a human body.
Besides your lungs getting full of tar and other
substances, your gums and throat are exposed
to the 4,000 dangerous chemicals that puts
you in risk of developing different kinds of
cancer. The sad thing is that here in Monterrey
smoking is viewed and accepted as a common
and social habit.
