Most of the anglers were males and Malays accounted for 93.75% and 96.88% of the respondents. More than half of the respondents (53.75%) earned a monthly income of RM5011,000 with another 12.5% and 18.75% earning RM1,001-1,500 and RM1,501-2,000 respectively. Almost half of the respondents or 47.83% of the respondents are involved in farming or are rubber/oil palm smallholders. Other professions are Government officers and businessmen each with 13.04% of the respondents.
