Transportation

The growth of the Industrial Revolution was able to transport raw materials, and other goods. There were 3 types of main transportation. Waterways, roads, railroads, and boats. This was important because people were starting to move to the South. Richard Trevithick made the steamboat. Robert Fulton made the steam engine. The people carried raw materials all the way to Atlanta. They also used other transportation such as river traffic, steamboats, and canals. For the railroad track they used mass production of steel. Before cars and roads, they used railroads. There was a road that lead to Maryland to the Ohio River.
