Nationally renowned and rising Indigenous artists from all over the country have partnered with the team at Lifewear Australia. They collaborate on contemporary fashion collections featuring Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artworks and translate their traditional stories to clothing.
Lifewear celebrates and promotes Aboriginal culture, works closely and invests in the economic development of the communities. Lifewear pay license fees and/or royalty fees to the artists, commissioning the original artworks and licensing them for a limited time only to legally and respectfully recreate the paintings and drawings on clothing.

All their designs are created from scratch in Australia either based on digital drawings or hand painted artworks. Lifewear’s in-house design team regularly works collectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists from all over Australia to create the foundation for our Indigenous clothing range.
