Quaden Bayles

Quaden Bayles is not your normal 6-year-old. He is a proud murri boy on a mission to make a difference! Born with achondroplasia dwarfism. From the age of 3 years old he has been the face of “Stand Tall 4 Dwarfism” and a Dwarfism Awareness Australian Ambassador, with his own logo, merchandise and art works, which are available through the Stand Tall 4 Dwarfism facebook page.

This year Quaden has decided to venture out into acting and modelling to help break down the barriers and stereotypes associated with disabilities and First Nations people. Being one of only a few Aboriginal boys born with achondroplasia, Quaden embraces his uniqueness and uses his special gifts to help inspire other to be happy and healthy regardless of life’s adversities.

Quaden is used to being behind the camera from a young age, sharing his journey with the world because he knows he has a very powerful testimony that has captivated people the world over. He is a natural born entertainer and was born to stand out.

“I just love being on TV and making people laugh so hopefully I’ll be on Black Comedy one day," Quaden says.

Quaden admires several actors such as Steven Oliver, Ice Cube, The Wayne Brothers, and he loves Beau Ryan on the Footy Show and hopes to be on there with him one day. His favourite movie is “Little Man” featuring Marlon and Shawn Wayans.

Quaden loves his food (cooking and eating), he’s an animal lover, a fanatical sportsman and enjoys shopping and travelling. But of all things, Quaden is most passionate about his culture and family, the strong foundations that have made him the strong and confident yet humble young warrior he is today.

Quaden has a big social media following for his bright and bubbly personality. “I embrace my uniqueness and inspire people to be happy.”

Look out for big things to come Quadene whose wise beyond his years with so much to offer and teach the world. The Indigenous Artist Magazine is definitely #TeamQuaden all the way.
