KEVIN

KROPINYERI

INDIGENOUS AUSTRALIAN COMEDIAN

Ever been struck by a high voltage hilarious shock of comedy? Well that’s what you get when you meet one of Australia’s premier Aboriginal comedy stars, Kevin Kropinyeri.

Kevin is a one-man whirlwind that will have you holding your sides laughing, as he shares tales of growing up, marriage and the absurd challenges of life as an Aboriginal Australian family man. He is naturally blessed and a raw comedy genius. As soon as he walks on stage, he makes his presence known with his high energetic entrance, opening lines and outrageously funny facial expressions. Kevin is a proud Ngarrindjeri man from the lower River Murray, Lakes & Coorong region in South Australia. A father of eight beautiful children and one grandchild who are his pride and joy and says “Yes, I know I’m fertile!”. It wouldn’t be fair but to mention the loved ones, they are Kevin Jnr, Jamaya, Jarika, Tyra, Belinda, Kysaiah, Brate, River and his grandson Jharien.

Kevin was raised by a strong black woman who he loves and adores. My mother Beryl is my hero. I wouldn’t be where I am in life, if it wasn’t for dedication, commitment, support and tough love.
