The band or you solo on the biggest stage. Make things look grand. No logos or company names.
As a test, turn down the volume and just watch the visual. Then turn up the sound and close your eyes to really hear the technical.
You are competing with not only indie acts, but major players too.
The booking agents will read your twitter and social media comments to learn more about you.
Will they check your fan base count? you bet.
Will they check to see if you have a publicist or promoter or manager which helps their cause? YES. Are you competing against those that do? YES.
Press makes you look important, relevant, so get some, a lot of it.
Will they want to read references...YES.
Why should they book you? Who are you? what are you all about? when are you available? what are you offering? how long are you sets? do you do all originals or covers too?
