REDOX was formed in 1995 from the ashes of Tin Tin Tin, (1985-1995) becoming THE MIGHTY REDOX in 2005.
The name was originally chosen because two of the band, drummer Garry and bassist Sprog lived in Reading and singer, Sue Smith and guitarist, Phil Freizinger lived in Oxford – hence (slightly abbreviated – REDOX). It had nothing to do with catalyst reaction – which we knew nothing about initially!
Phil (guitarist/singer/flautist) and Sue (singer), have moved together between bands and duos and have also busked around various parts of the globe over the past…. 45 years.
After Sprog (bass) and Gary (drums) left – Tim Turan became our much sought after drummer, later to be followed by Nick Clack, Darren Hasson Davis(July 2012) and then Rick J Nash (Dec 2012)
Dave Tomlinson became our bassist, was then followed by Ian Nixon and then for ten years- Gray Barlow 2003-2013. Currently, Sandro Crucioli is Slapping and Grooving the bass.
THE MIGHTY REDOX has been known as a ‘swamp rock band’, however ‘psycho eclectic rock’ is the new description which fits us best.
THE MIGHTY REDOX have released seven albums throughout their career, including ’45′(2010) with Tim and Dave. ‘BULLABURRA’ (2005) and ‘ON THE MOVE’ (2008) were recorded with Gray and Nick followed by ‘BLUE SKIES SUNSHINE'(2016), ‘BEYOND OUR EYES’ (2018), ‘ FIESTA d`AMOR’ (2021) and ‘INTRASTELLAR 23’ (2023) with Sandro and Rick
We are releasing our latest album ‘LOVE`S A DEMON’ July 4th 2025
The band has toured extensively in the UK , Germany and France, and is a regular attraction on the UK festival circuitry, the ultimate party band.
"Wattmore is a Brisbane-based duo formed by brothers Aiden and Kai. Known for their distinctive blend of alt-country, punk, and Americana, the duo draws on influences from Oasis to Waylon Jennings. Their music is raw, honest, and fearless, embodying the spirit of true musical pioneers.
Kamil bobin.
We're Wattmore, a young duo finding our way in the music world. Our roots run deep in alt-country and old-school rock. We've always been drawn to music that's raw, real, and full of soul: the kind that doesn't rely on slick production or digital perfection, but honest songwriting and the stories we see around us.
The songs we write come from life. From the things we notice, the people we meet, the moments that stick. We're not trying to reinvent the wheel, but we are trying to bring back something that feels a bit lost: music that means something. Music that tells a story. That's what we're chasing.
Even though we're just getting started, we've been lucky enough to work with some incredible legends of Australian music: Allan Caswell, Bob Spencer, and Lindsay Waddington, to name a few.
It's been humbling, inspiring, and it reminds us why we do this. We're here to make original, authentic music – something that feels like a reboot of the soundtrack of our lives.
They told us not to release this song.
They said it would get us cancelled.
That was all the encouragement we needed. So
here it is… our career suicide note, set to
music. Canadian Whiskey is, on paper, a
"conventional country drinking song." Which
is true, if you ignore the sarcasm, the
side-eye, and the fact that it was co-written
with Allan Caswell -a self-confessed leftie,
boomer, hippie, and professional
troublemaker. Totally coincidental. Probably.
Before anyone gets dramatic - it's not
anti-American. It's just aggressively pro
everyone else. Canada, Mexico, Ukraine, France,
Australia. Hell, if Greenland makes tequila,
they're in too.
