Hubert Dorigatti "Born With A Silver Spoon"

GENRE: ROOTS/BLUES-ROCK

After two records as the leader of the Bayou Side trio, a tribute to Bob Dylan in duo with Laura Willeit, and a solo record featuring Grammy-nominated harp player Fabrizio Poggi, Alto Adige guitar master Hubert “Hubi” Dorigatti releases his fifth roots studio album, titled Stop. Among the featured guests is once again Fabrizio Poggi, along with Paolo Legramandi, Michele Bonivento, Max Castlunger, Mirko Pedrotti, Dan Walsh, and others.

"Stop", his first release on Appaloosa Records, is a testimony to his work so far and features a dozen brand

new songs – all written by him – that show how deeply his sound and compositions are rooted in

American music. As a matter of fact, if we listened to the album without knowing its author, we would

most likely believe that it’s by an American artist. Dorigatti masterfully mixes blues, rock, and country

music with jazz phrasing, acoustic music and an incendiary electricity.

Dave Isaacs "Too Long"

GENRE: ROOTS/BLUES-ROCK

The Jeff Carlson Band had free time on their hands when Covid hit, so they turned an EP into a full album "Yesterday's Gone" during the 2020 lockdown. A Las Vegas touring act, they're self-contained and went at the recordings as a band.

Dave Isaacs will tell you that he is a musician first and foremost, and a conversation with him makes that readily apparent. It also makes clear that he earned his title “Guitar Guru” honestly, in his obvious love for teaching and in the many songwriters and artists who have called him a mentor. He added “author” to his list of accomplishments in 2019 with the publication of his first book, the acclaimed instructional memoir “The Perpetual Beginner”.

On his new 7-song collection “Choogle”, Isaacs shows the other side of the sobriquet: this teacher CAN do. A seasoned performer, songwriter, and session musician, Dave spent the last ten years dedicated to his educational work and writing. But players need to play, and the slowdowns of 2020 brought time to return to his own music – first a set of solo guitar instrumentals and accompanying illustrated score released as “5 Etudes”, and then the songs and relaxed recording sessions for the new EP.
